It's always nice to put a face to the name, so say hello to our dedicated staff and team of outdoor enthusiasts! Managers, mechanics, and everything in-between we're all here to help you have fun and get the most out of your favorite activity.
JP is the glue that holds North Star Sports together! He's the person we turn to for help on warranties, finding specialty bikes around the world, and just about anything that the rest of the store can't solve. Catch JP and his best bud Taco around the store or volunteering with Passion 4 Paws on his days off.
Pete is a born-and-raised Vermonter who has seen it all, from skiing chest deep powder and biking world-famous trails to living in a submarine while in the Navy. His light-hearted nature and constant humor keeps everyone in the shop laughing and he'll always be the first to let you know how awesome your dog is!
Austin may look young but he's wise beyond his years when it comes to fixing bikes. A recovering roadie, Austin has taken nicely to his heavy prescription of trail riding this summer but he still sneaks out to burn rubber on the open road.
When Jacob is not crushing 400+ mile rides from Burlington all the way to Maine and back on his days off, he is hard at work dialing in your bikes and giving out excellent ride recommendations being our resident roadie here at the North Star!
When Keith isn't tinkering around on his old steel commuter bike he's busy joking around and helping people out on the sales floor, updating our website, and answering any rental questions you may have! On his days off you'll either catch him at a trailhead, enjoying a beer in town, or snowboarding at Sugarbush in the winter.
From Underhill, VT, Gabe somehow finds time to come into the shop and work in between all of the riding he does. Not only is he photogenic but he's an aspiring photographer too! Find him at the next VMBA event, Bolton Valley Bike Park, or on any of the countless trails around Vermont!
Taco is our shop greeter and resident Passion 4 Paws representative. He's JP's best buddy and you'll be hard pressed to find them apart at any time! You might have seen the big guy out with JP on a walk or devouring a puppaccino at Starbucks on Church Street.
